The Altai Massif stretches for almost 2,000 kilometres, forming a landscape of rugged mountains, vast plateaux, crystal-clear lakes and rushing rivers. The snow-

capped peaks of the Altai, including Mount Belukha at 4,506 metres, dominate the horizon and offer breathtaking views.

The intangible link between Alexis Pinturault and these legendary peaks is, without a doubt, gold. In the Mongolian language, Altai means «Mountains of

The Pinturault family, from grandparents to grandchildren, has always been passionate about mountains,skiing, sport and nature. Alexis Pinturault, Claude Pinturault’s cadet son, has inherited his family’s passion and become one of the best skiers in the world :

• Overall World Cup winner in 2020-21

• Triple world champion and eight-time medallist

• Three-time Olympic medallist (two bronze in giant slalom and one silver in combined)

• Winner of five small globes and a big crystal globe on his 30th birthday (Giant Slalom and Alpin Combined)

He is only the 3rd French skier in history to win the overall World Cup ranking after JC Killy and Luc Alphand.

At the age of 32, he has 77 World Cup podium finishes, including 35 victories, making him the most successful French skier in history.

In 2023, he won one of the best medals of his career. At home in Courchevel, he was crowned world combined champion.
